If you’re new to Maidenhead, this guide will list out the best 5 options for coffee in Maidenhead. The options will be rated by the coffee itself, the atmosphere and suitability for remote workers.
As a local of Maidenhead for the last 8 years I’ve certainly visited most – if not all the cafes in the area!
Maidenhead is great for singles, couples and families given the transport links, redevelopment of its town and variety of schools. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes in Maidenhead and so if you’re looking for the best coffee in Maidenhead, you’re in the right place.
My name is Anand, and I’m a father of two who lives close to Maidenhead. I’m always visiting the coffee shops in Maidenhead spending many hours working on my online business – so hopefully I can provide a tip or two on the best coffee in Maidenhead 🙂

If you’re looking for the best coffee in Maidenhead, this is it. Bakked is an artisan bakery that delivers well on all fronts.
It’s on Maidenhead High Street and has a large space which hosts many remote workers. This is helped by the many tables and raised wall desks that are lined with people on their laptops. Their coffee is excellent – with a range of smooth, rich and Turkish varieties available.
My favourite is the ‘rich’ blend (Indonesian, Honduras, Columbian beans) as a flat white. Compliment it the range of pastries and desserts they offer.

Saints is a delightful café on the corner St Marks Road in Maidenhead. It has a modern look to it, and it’s coffee is spectacular with the use of Allpress blends. My favourite coffee from Saints is an Americano to really taste the difference. Saints is especially busy in the morning as parents stop for a pick-me-up following the school run.
It’s not the best place for remote workers given it’s size but you should definitely visit Saints Café if you’re in Maidenhead.

Overall
Chai Cocoa is a small café on Queen Street with a big heart. It’s focus is on eco-sustainability with it’s coffee coming from locally sourced producers. Chai Cocoa’s coffee is definitely worth trying with my go-to being an oat cappuccino.
This café has a family friendly feel with a small Cocoa Cubs soft play space at the back for 0-7 years olds. Remote working is tricky given there are few tables that are close together.

It’s been said that Palmieri’s has the best coffee in Maidenhead, and I would certainly agree that it is strong, but for me – not the best in Maidenhead.
Palmieri’s is a small café known for it’s Italian meals and desserts. Highly recommended if you want good, hearty Italian food.
Being on Furze Platt Road away from Maidenhead High Street, Palmieri’s offers an excellent, friendly atmosphere with a old-school café vibe.

Flavio’s is a café, bar and restaurant that has been around since 2004. They offer a hearty breakfast and good coffee. Remote workers might prefer an environment like Flavio’s though plug points are limited.
